About this policy

Essivro helps you understand videos, watch relevant segments, and save useful insights. This policy covers the Essivro browser extension and website. Contact: alexzhengyaoyang@gmail.com.

Data we process

Account and authentication: Google sign-in provides your name, email address, profile image, and authentication tokens. Essivro stores account and session information to keep you signed in. We do not receive your Google password.
Video and website content: When you request analysis, subtitles, comments, or saving, we process the supported video's URL, title, identifiers, duration, available captions, and content needed for that action. Saved insights and your questions in the knowledge library are processed to provide answers.
Usage and library: We store saved videos and insights, playback-savings records, usage allowances, and task outcomes. This is not a record of your general browsing history across unrelated websites.
Payments: Stripe processes checkout and payment details. Essivro receives customer, subscription, transaction, and payment-status records; it does not receive your full card number.
Technical data: Our hosting and service infrastructure may process IP addresses, request metadata, and error logs for operation, security, and troubleshooting. Language preferences and session information are stored locally in your browser.

We use this information to authenticate your account, analyze the video you request, provide subtitles and comments, save and retrieve your library, answer your questions, manage subscriptions and allowances, and maintain the service. We do not sell personal data, use it for advertising, or use or transfer it for credit or lending decisions.

Service providers and transfers

Data required for an action is processed by our hosting infrastructure (including Cloudflare and Oracle Cloud), Google for sign-in, Stripe for payments, TikHub for supported video information and captions, and the AI processing services used to generate video analysis and knowledge answers. Video text and questions may be transmitted to AI processing services to produce the requested result. These services may process data outside your country. The extension does not download and execute remote application code.

Storage, retention, and deletion

Account and library data are stored on our servers. Video captions and generated analysis may be cached to serve later requests. Usage and payment records support allowance accounting and subscription management. Retention depends on the record and its operational or legal purpose; we do not promise a fixed automatic deletion period for every record.

You can remove saved library items, sign out, or uninstall the extension to stop using it. Uninstalling does not delete server-side account data. Contact the email above to request access to or deletion of your personal data, including associated server records. Records needed for legal obligations, payment accounting, fraud prevention, or security may need to be retained.

Security and choices

Service requests use HTTPS. Access to account data requires authentication. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. You can revoke Essivro's access in your Google account and manage your subscription through billing settings.
